The Turrbotax monthly party in BK has become one of THE go-to destinations to get your bass music fix in NYC.  With resident DJs Contakt, Mayster, C-Sick, Rem Koolhaus, & Video City; the crew has brought in talent from all across the US as well as recently flying in the UK's Martin Kemp and Alex Bok Bok.  The party is held every first Thursday of the Month at the Cove (Formerly Hugs) in Williamsburg on N. 6th.  Boasting big talent as well as No Cover charge and free beers from 10-11pm and 1-2am courtesy of sponsor Asahi, there's no excuse to be missing out.  The party, the first in the US focusing specifically on these sounds, aims to showcase the ever evolving movement of bass driven underground House music.  As genre lines continue to blur and become more vague by the day with people trying to pin down the music with terms like Funky and Future Garage, the Turrbotax party is about the tunes first and foremost, Wot-You-Callit is up to you.

Already hard at work on their 1 Year anniversary party slated for this Summer, the Turrbotax crew puts some Spring in your step with 2 huge parties lined up for this April's Tax season.  Not foolin' around!  April 1st, Dubbel Dutch out of Austin, TX will be gracing the decks along with SF Icee Hot resident Rollie Fingers.  April 10th,  the Turrbotax business edition will be taking place with DJs Bok Bok, Kingdom, and Jubilee as well as the residents rounding out the bill and  taking it to the early AM hours.  There is however a 5$ cover for this one so utilize that Tax refund and all the money you've saved on free beers and reach!  If you saw the Night Slugs at Trouble & Bass this past November, you know this isn't one to miss.  And if you live in NYC, are viewing this blog, and don't know about Kingdom & Jubilee you need to get out more.  Seriously.
