Reinforced sound
This Friday night marks the premiere of Twisup, a new party in downtown Brooklyn headed up by NYC's own Dave Q. Expect a wide range of sounds and tempos throughout the night, all firmly rooted in deep and weighty sub-bass. Those who were at the DubWar one-off at Deity last month know the subterranean location, reinforced soundsystem, and dimly lit dancefloor make it easy to completely immerse yourself in a sea of low end and sub-sonic frequencies. For the debut party, Dave has called upon Halcyon's Nihal, Dutty Artz badman Matt Shadetek, as well as stepping up to the decks himself to lend support on the evening. Headlining the night is Atlanta resident and devout Falcons fan Distal bringing his own unique brand of southern-fried Bass to the table.
